We're currently looking for a creative stylist with at least 3 years experience (specifically with good cutting / colouring skills, good Afro hairdressing skills, and experience of braiding and weaving/hair extensions is desirable though not necessary) for our vibrant salon and training academy. We cater for Afro, Mixed Textured and European hair types, so you will be working on a variety of clients. We use some of the best hair products on the market.
We're looking for a forward thinking individual who is a good team worker, but can also work on their own initiative and capable of building new clients. You are required to provide the highest standard level of service to our existing clientele.
You must be committed to your continuous career development as training is provided to staff at all levels. Ideally you will be interested in gaining skills as a mentor/trainer as we have a number of trainees / apprentices and work experience students.
Position is part-time (will definitely include saturdays).

Working within a busy salon, you will undertake cutting, colouring, perming, relaxing and styling on Afro, Mixed Textured and European hair types, and carrying out all other hairdressing/salon duties as required.
Essentials:
NVQ Level 2/3 Hairdressing Qualification - Essential.
Minimum 3 years 'on the floor' experience, excellent cutting, colouring skills - Essential.
Experience of Afro, European and Mixed Textured Hairdressing - Essential.
Experience of women's and men's hairdressing - Essential.
Must have excellent communications skills - Essential.
Must have relevant experience of working within a similar role and have good customer care skills - Essential.
Desirables:
Braiding and weaving skills - Desirable.
Fusion Hair Extensions skills - Desirable.
Wedding/Bridal Hair Experience - Desirable.
Manicure skills - Desirable.
Make Up skills - Desirable.
Must be a UK Citizen or have a valid Work Permit if from outside UK. Vistor and Student Visa will be be accepted.
